We are still buzzing from an amazing awards ceremony, thanks to the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and yet another incredible win for our teams who are working so hard every day to show absolute care. This was a bit of a different win for us and here’s why it is so important…

Firstly, the SME London Awards represent the best of SME businesses all over London, in any sector. We were the only car service london and courier services london to be represented in all three of the categories that we were nominated for:

• Positive Impact – For our work with NHS Trusts, the Rosie May Foundation, Think Pink alliance and our commitment to sustainability
• Sustainability – For being pioneers in our industry when it comes to reducing emissions and cleaning-up London’s air, for operating London’s greenest fleet and seeing a decrease in carbon emissions despite an increase in journeys
• Corporate Social Responsibility – For our commitment to our communities back in 1967 when we began all the way through to today!

So we were determined to do our industry proud on the night.

And we were absolutely thrilled to win GOLD for our commitment to sustainability.

We have a proud history of leading the way in our industry when it comes to being the most eco-friendly supplier, with London’s largest fleet of hybrid vans and cargo bikes for our same day courier services and electric and low-emission fleet for our passenger jobs such as airport transfers london and chauffeur london jobs.

But when you consider that we work in transportation and many of the other businesses nominated work in much ‘greener’ industries, our commitment to managing our impact really shines through.

The reason? Our attention to detail and our ongoing investment. Every single journey is scrutinised by our teams to ensure its impact is minimal, we meet with every client monthly to report on their emissions and analyse where we can make carbon savings and get them to their Net Zero goals more quickly. We encourage car sharing. We campaign, we educate (7000+ eco-warriors of the future at the John Scott Nature Reserve, generations of outdoor learning at Highgate Primary School) and we collaborate (with the likes of LoCITY, Cross River Partnership, Albert etc).

And so, we don’t just have a proud history when it comes to sustainability – this award shows that we also have a very current presence: we are officially recognised as not just being the most sustainable supplier in our industry but the most sustainable supplier in London.
