Car and Courier Service London cheers for level playing field this FA Cup Final!

GLH’s car and courier services in London will be cheering everyone on in the 2025 Adobe Women’s FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium this Sunday. We’ve been following the growth of women’s football and couldn’t be happier to see how far it’s come, with last year’s Final having sold out in record time.

A level playing field needs to be established in all arenas. We are proud to work with Think Pink, a charity powered by the Rosie May Foundation, that empowers women to work in the transportation sector, as self-employed drivers. These roles not only provide women with a rewarding and flexible career that can be worked around family and other commitments, they also address the under-representation of women in the industry.

Think Pink offers different means of support, including a comprehensive online training package – covering topics from legislation to conflict resolution and awareness. Other help is available, by way of insurance discounts, free tax returns, a supportive female driver community, free uniforms and free mobile SIM cards.

GLH Director, Zoë Walsh volunteers on the executive board of Think Pink and our own initiatives to encourage more women into our sector are making a difference. In the UK, under 7% of taxi / private hire drivers are female; yet at GLH, 44% of our drivers are women and 36% of our leadership are too.
