London-based GLH has won the Silver Award in the Business Diversification category of the prestigious 2026 Professional Driver QSi Awards.

Professional Driver Editor Mark Bursa said: “GLH has been a constant innovator for decades, pioneering cleaner vehicles and adding courier work to its private hire operations. Since the pandemic, the company has added another area of business – NHS patient transfers, which now accounts for a third of its work. In an industry first, the company is now officially Care Quality Commissions approved. The streak continues –GLH has been a winner at every QSi Awards event since we started in 2013, which speaks volumes for its consistency and quality. This is GLH’s 21st QSi Award – five of them Gold.”

Professional Driver magazine’s QSi Awards ceremony was a night to remember for the cream of Britain’s chauffeur and private hire operators. The awards, open to every chauffeur and private hire company in the UK, are designed to recognise operators and individuals that demonstrate excellent standards of Quality, Service and Innovation.

Gold, Silver and Bronze awards were presented in 11 categories at a thrilling event, held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Brighton on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

The 11 categories mean there’s something for every size and type of operator, from one-man bands to large fleets. Categories also reward innovations in marketing, environmental performance and local community activities, while a special award – Professional Driver of the Year – singles out a chauffeur or private hire driver who is judged to be the best in the UK.

Mark Bursa said: “The private hire, taxi and chauffeur industry makes an enormous contribution to keeping Britain moving. This year’s Professional Driver QSi Awards recognise those amazing efforts and bring the industry together for a much-needed night of celebration.”

Mark Bursa continued: “The quality and number of the entries grows every year, and it becomes an ever-more difficult task for our judges to pick our winners. Only very good operators made the short list, so we can be sure our Gold, Silver and Bronze winners are among the very best in Britain.”

Professional Driver magazine is the national publication for the UK’s chauffeur, private hire and taxi industry. The QSi Awards were launched in 2013 as the first and only national awards for the industry. For more details, visit www.prodrivermags.com
