If you’ve known us for a while, you might already be aware of the Professional Driver QSi Awards. These are the benchmark for excellence in the Private Hire, Chauffeur and Taxi industry. QSi stands for Quality, Service and Innovation and the awards are given to “truly first-class operators”. We are the only operator to have won an award every year since they were established and that isn’t a mantle we are going to give up without a fight. Despite it being one of the most challenging times our industry has ever seen, we put our heart and souls into our awards submissions this year. So, imagine how pleased we were to learn that we have been shortlisted in not just one, but FOUR, categories!

Factors that we hope impressed the judges (because we are very proud of them) were
- Our ongoing investment in and commitment to providing the best patient transport service possible, including our registration with the Care Quality Commission which means that our teams will be held up to the same standards of care as those working in the care sector. In addition we built a bespoke booking system which has made time savings to the NHS of 50% compared with normal booking systems. And, most importantly we’ve had feedback from patient passengers to say that our treatment of them has helped their confidence and made hard times a little easier
- Our work with The Rosie May Foundation and the Think Pink alliance which aims to encourage more women to become professional drivers, creating a community that gives them the confidence to carve out flexible and fulfilling careers in the sector
- Our commitment to the environment and managing our impact which continues in the face of commercial challenges, because if we don’t have a planet then we don’t have a business
- Adapting and diversifying during vehicle shortages, driver shortages, the pandemic, the cost-of-living crisis and the climate crisis, maintaining operations and seeing business levels return to normal quickly
- Our brilliant teams who have stuck with us during difficult times and keep amazing us with their ability to keep calm, carry on, innovate and go the extra mile for our customers
There are gold, silver and bronze awards for each category and we will find out whether we have won at the Professional Driver Awards Night on 29th November 2022. Please keep everything crossed for us – and whether we win or not, we will keep on going above and beyond to give you the best quality, service and innovation!
